Resumo
The historical narrative of people is entangled according to the resources and purposes of the authors. The selection of facts, the main and the secondary characters steam from political decisions as well as It highlights values of the time. What is untold and who does not take part in the narrative reveal more important facts than what is actually narrated. The neglected bodies and spaces along with historical, sociocultural and ideological reasons of being neglected are the same. That is why It is essencial to depict such reasons in order to distort neglecting practices. Nowadays, the cyberspace and cyberculture have become powerful allies in the unveilling of subalternized, invizibilized, or even visibly reconfigured bodies. In this work, we discuss the reconfiguration of the body-identity of Leodegaria de Jesus from studies about her work in Goiana literature through decolonization of aesthetics inspired by Henrique Freitas. We defend that theorical and cultural crossroads (FREITAS, 2015)are presented as sustaining, and a way of deleted embodiments recognition, some, invizibilized, others, purposely. In orther to do so, we discuss the role of embodiment reconfiguration of Leodegaria de Jesus, considering the intersemiotic factors which led to her preterition as a protagonist of Goiana Literature.
