Calibração da sonda de capacitância FDR em latossolo vermelho distrófico argiloso do cerrado

Resumo

For the efficient use of regional water resources is imperative that na adequate irrigation management be done, such as that based on the monitoring of water content in the soil. For this, different sensors can be used, however, for greater reliability of the information, these need to be calibrated for each solo. The objective was to calibrate a reflectometry probe type in the Frequency Domain (FDR) for a Oxisoil, clayey. Six access tubes were installed in the soil, forming a grid of 5 × 2 m, two tubes for each humidity level (saturated, wet and dry). Soil moisture readings were taken with the equipment for each soil layer (0.10 m - 0.60 m) in each tube. Immediately after the completion of the readings, we proceeded to the soil sampling for determination of moisture and gravimetric density. Volumetric moisture (Θv, m3 m-3) in each soil layer was determined by multiplying the gravimetric moisture by the mean soil density (kg m-3). The FDR probe is suitable for determining the moisture from a calibration for the soil of interest. The model that best fit was the potential model, following the results of other authors.
