Caracterização climática da bacia hidrográfica do Ribeirão Anicuns, Goiânia-GO

Abstract

The urbanization process has caused several socio-environmental problems, mainly observed when considering the characteristics of the climate. The objective of this work was to analyze the climatic characteristic in the Ribeirão Anicuns Hydrographic Basin, located in the southwestern portion of the city of Goiânia-GO, based on the variability of climatic elements such as precipitation, air temperature, humidity, sunshine, wind and atmospheric pressure. ; as well as obtaining the Climatic Water Balance (BHC), according to Thornthwaite and Matter (1955). Climatic data from the Meteorological Station of the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) were used, covering the historical series from 1984 to 2018, worked on an Excel spreadsheet. Possible to observe that the climatic elements confirm the condition of strong climatic seasonality, marked by two seasons, one dry and the other rainy; high temperatures during the year, with low relative humidity and possibility of extreme events. The Climatological Water Balance indicated that the month of October starts the water surplus and the month of May represents the beginning of the water deficit that lasts until September, from which it is possible to infer that the month of September is the month of transition from dry to humid and the month of April, the month of transition from wet to dry. The results of this study confirm the importance of climate in the analysis of socioenvironmental impacts, as the pattern of rainfall distribution indicates the possibility of extreme events, which favors erosion processes and the climatological water.
