Algumas considerações morfoestruturais na região de Goiás-GO

Abstract

The area at issue, is characterized by three different morphostrutural compartments: the hog-back of Serra Dourada; the quartzitic isoclinal or monoclinal crests of Serra do Cantagalo and the sector intermontane dotted of inselbergs. ln the first two compartments, the differential erosion is orienteci by structural implications, whi1e in the last, the paleoclimatic evidences individualize a refuge of aggressive morphodynamic effects. Theree levels of different levelling are also verified: the first corresponding to the top surface (South Arnerican cycle, 1.000-1.100 m), where remanescents divide the quartzits in micaceous sections of strutural cornice of Serra Dourada; the second is connected with the intermontane surface (velhas cycle, 700-700 m), whose local domination appear in the meridional sec tion of Serra Dourada; and the last, corresponding to the intra-mountrain area, whose pleistocenic surface, (400-450 m) is covered or rudes debris, often in terrupted by the presence of paleoinselbergs. A direct connection of the vegetables forrnation with a superficial structure is evident, where the old sediments, and even quaternary, are conected to the phenomenon of pediplanation, is responsible by the presence of xero morphic vegetation whereas in areas dissected by morohoclimatic effets under­present, appear forest formations or or ciliary woods.
