In this study we investigated the magnetic properties of the [Mn(ampyz)(AcO)2 (H2O)]n compound (1-Mn) (do Nascimento Neto et al., 2019; Lemes et al., 2021). The magnetic properties were studied in a broad range of temperatures 3–400 K in magnetic fields up to 60 kOe. The intra and interchain interactions inducing spin canting and long-range ferromagnetic ordering at low temperatures. The coupling constant of 𝐽 = −1.03 cm−1 and 𝑧𝐽 = +0.23 cm−1 quantitatively indicates the presence of weak antiferromagnetic interactions mediated by ampyz bridging ligand and non-negligible interchain correlations.
