Resumo

Investigates how studies on Bibliotherapy, applied to the child audience, are presented, both from a national and international perspective, and to what extent such studies may be linked to Library Science. It is a quantitative-qualitative, exploratory, and bibliographic research. Through a systematic literature review, data were collected using four national and four international databases. From the data collection, twenty-one studies of practical research were analyzed. Finally, it was possible to verify that children's bibliotherapy is manifesting in diverse ways, adapting to both more specific and broader groups of children, with the aim of providing support in particular emotional and behavioral issues. Additionally, it is observed that this process is adopted by a variety of professionals, including psychologists, nurses, pediatricians, librarians, specialized teachers, and educators.
