Refinamento do mapa de solos do alto curso da bacia hidrográfica do ribeirão Santa Marta, município de Iporá (GO), Brasil

Resumo

Based on a case study of the Ribeirão Santa Marta high course of Hydrographic Basin, which may be a future source of water supply for the city of Iporá, in the state of Goiás, Brazil, the main objective of this work is to present a refinement of the existing soil map, the original scale of 1: 250,000 to the scale of 1: 100,000. Digital Soil Mapping (DSM) techniques were employed, using geotechnologies for crossing environmental covariates (geology and relief), correlation with existing maps (geological and pedological), collecting soil samples, laboratory analysis and general description of the soil profiles in the field. The original mapping showed the following areas of occurrence by soil class: Oxisols(45.2%), Litholic Entisols(24.5%), Oxisols(17.4%) and Inceptisols(12.9%). With the refinement to the 1: 100,000 scale, in addition to the identification of Alfisols(1.3%) and Entisols(5.3%), the proportions of the other classes were considerably changed: Inceptisols(26%), Oxisols(23, 2 %), Litholic Entisols(22.2%) and Oxisols(22%). These results will subsidize the planning and environmental management of this resource, for the implementation of public actions and policies effectively and efficiently, in addition to serving as a basis for work on the conservation of soil and water resources in quantity and quality suitable for different uses.
