Resumo
This research aims to investigate the artistic practices taking place at the Museu do Depois de Amanhã (MUDDA), through the concept of dwelling as explored by Gaston Bachelard and Tim Ingold. Based in the city of Goiânia, Goiás, MUDDA carries out its activities in the ruins of the former Centrais Elétricas de Goiás S.A., making it relevant for reflecting on the micropolitical dynamics that shape disputes over the right to memory and the social function of abandoned properties in the context of contemporary cities. Here, the ruins are understood as destabilizing elements of the categories that structure thought: space and place, subject and object, nature and culture. By highlighting the dynamic nature of the flows and relationships that constitute the world, the ruins transform the museum experience, where the artist's craft and the inhabitant's walk blend into the task of inventing their own place. Thus, based on the specificities of artistic practices occurring in ruined spaces, the goal is to contribute to the production of knowledge about local art and to foster dialogues and reflections that connect artistic creation with dissident urban politics and sensibilities.
