Religião: entre a sociedade e o imaginário

Abstract

The text focuses on various theoretical approaches to examine the development of religions and highlight their interactions as they occur in terms of beliefs or practices. Thus refers to the semiotics of space, as proposed by B. Lamizet, to linguistic pragmatics, as recommended P. Charaudeau; to anthropology of the imaginary, as indicated by G. Durand and to hierophany, as suggested by M. Eliade. In his conclusion admits that it was not God who created man, was the man who created his own God in his image and likeness.
