Resumo
Access to culture is a right of people with visual impairment that often becomes impossible due to lack of communicational accessibility in dance shows. The Diversus Dance Group of the Federal University of Goiás has been operating since 2017 with a focus on a dance that serves all people with and without disabilities. She has been reflecting, discussing and carrying out actions so that dance is accessible to dancers and to the people who watch her shows. This article aims to present the accessible strategies carried out in three dance performances of the group for the inclusion of visually impaired people as an audience. This is a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive documentary research that presents the accessible strategies of three shows of the Diversus Dance Group, one in person and two video-dances. It is hoped that this article will give visibility to the possibilities, difficulties and paths found by the Group in the search for communicational accessibility. Inclusive dance can be an opportunity for people with visual impairments, both dancers and the public, to rethink and expand social inclusion, the right to diversity and human dignity.
