O jogo das sombras: a melancolia e o desvanecer

Abstract

This is a work in artistic practice that seeks to establish a relationship between my works started throughout college in Visual Arts (Bachelor) and the state of melancholy. It aims to understand melancholy and its development over the centuries, investigating its first expressions in humanity until psychoanalysis. During the investigation I realized that melancholy often crossed my artistic work, making it possible to create a connection between them.
