Resumo
The use of information and communication technologies in education has grown, regardless of the level of
education. Despite the difficulties of implementing the use of TICS in the educational environment, paths must be found for this, because the world today does not allow us to put ourselves apart from technological development in general. The use of the Internet of Things presents itself as a tool for didactic work in education. These solutions contribute to increasing efficiency in the process of knowledge transfer, monitoring and control of learning. Studies indicate the relationship between attendance and good school performance. Knowing this, it is important to monitor this information. The objective of this work is the development of a web
system capable of modernizing this process, having as main objective the capture and management of the presence of a student in each class. Among the technologies evaluated for this proposal, the choice by QR code is based on practicality, agility, and cost (zero). The prototype developed proved very promising in
responding efficiently to the objectives exposed.
