| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this paper is to analyze the three participant constructions in 19th century Nheengatu, as registered in Barbosa Rodrigues' narrative collection (1890). Nheengatu, as called ‘língua geral amazônica’, emerged from the grammatical development suffered by Tupinambá (Tupi-Guarani, subgroup III), in intense contact situation since it was used in the colonial period as the main language for administrative and religious purposes. Our diachronic analysis shows that in 19th century, the expression of the intralocutive receivers and beneficiaries could occur by the use of the postposition supé, the most conservative form, or by the use of a subordinator arama, an innovation of 19th century Nheengatu.These 19th century variation is the source of the split in three participant constructions found in 21st Nheengatu (CRUZ, 2014). | pt_BR |
| dc.description.resumo | Este trabalho tem como objetivo examinar as construções com três participantes em documentos do século XIX que registram o Nheengatu, tradicionalmente conhecido como Língua Geral Amazônica, que teria se desenvolvido na região a partir das mudanças sintáticas a que foram submetidas o Tupinambá desde o século XVII. De acordo com Cruz (2014), em construções com três participantes em Nheengatu atual, há uma cisão na forma de marcação de recipientes e beneficiários extralocutivos e intralocutivos ao discurso. Trata-se de uma inovação do Nheengatu, uma vez que não havia tal cisão no Tupinambá. Neste trabalho, após uma breve abordagem da história do Nheengatu, analisa-se a obra Poranduba Amazonense de Barbosa Rodrigues (1890), para verificar a forma e função das construções com três participantes no Nheengatu registrado no século XIX. A partir da análise, constatou-se que a referida cisão na marcação do terceiro participante estava em variação no século XIX. | pt_BR |
