Resumo

This text emphasizes the theoretical confluence between the Michel Foucault’s discourse theory and the Gilbert Durand’s Imaginary Anthropology, objectifying to analyze the Star Wars Saga discursive and mythical materialities. Although the trilogies are very well known for updating the Joseph Campbell’s hero journey, this paper shows another meaning effects, analyzing themoral control device related to the fallen angel myth, demonstrating the good and evil values inversion, present in the story of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader's character. This inversion also is articulated with the Hefestus andDionysius (oposite to Apollo) mithy traces, that construe the Anakin Skywalker's character in his way to become Darth Vader, when it updates the fallen angel myth. So, this paper offers a new Star Wars Saga viewpoint, as well as to the discourse and myth researches.
