Resumo
In this paper, a literature review was carried out, with a qualitative approach of an
exploratory nature, which aimed to analyze publications of scientific articles found on the Google
Scholar platform in the period between 2021 and 2022, referring to the theme of continuing and
permanent training in the context of Food and Nutrition Education (FNE). The results showed the
importance of continuous and permanent teacher training in FNE for the development of really
significant FNE actions in the school environment. It was observed that initial teacher training is
not enough to enable teachers to work consistently with the FNE. It was found that continuing and
permanent training contributed significantly to teachers gaining greater mastery over aspects
involving the FNE theme and applying this knowledge more consistently in the classroom. We
conclude that it is necessary to encourage discussions on the continuing and permanent training of
teachers in FNE, emphasizing the guidelines of the LDB and the PNAE regarding this topic, in
order to promote healthier eating practices in the school environment.
