(Trans)vivências: criação artística através de uma travecametodologia

Abstract

This art research, both theoretical and practical, investigates in the first person the centrality of the trans body and the experiences of transsexuality as protagonists in artistic creation. Using Isadora Ravena's "Travecametodologia" as a conceptual foundation, the work addresses themes such as femininity, global shifts, and the trans body as an artistic medium. As a result, a series of works is developed, including oil paintings and three-dimensional pieces, focused on valuing the trans body and reinterpreting religious and mythological icons, anchored in an imaginary deeply connected to the artist's personal experiences. The objective is to expand the artistic production of the Visual Arts Bachelor’s program and the city of Goiânia, creating bridges with the national and international art scene. This research positions itself as a significant contribution to the field of Visual Arts by promoting a subversive visual poetics that values dissident bodies, challenges normativities, and expands the possibilities of artistic representation and interpretation.
