Sistema de Informação Geográfica para gestão de rotas do transporte escolar rural

Abstract

The objective of this study was to apply GIS in route optimization Rural School Transportation (TER), allowing the spatial and temporal analysis, comparing criteria of operational performance and shorter distance. Was fi rst collected fi eld data as the technical registry roads, loading and unloading points and information with the drivers involved. Then there was the vectorization and the classifi cation of Terezópolis of county roads of Goiás with the help of GIS software. After the award of the alphanumeric database, ran up the systematization of scenarios analyzed criteria. The results showed no signifi cant diff erence of the comments by the test t (t <0.05). On the other hand, when analyzing the data individually, it was inferred that not always the shortest distance is the best option in determining school routes, and suggested to some socioeconomic nature of recommendations.
