Resumo
The Solidarity Economy is a movement that grows in Brazil as a form of social
inclusion and income generation. However, this type of economy still lacks mechanisms to
support and consolidate public policies to strengthen these practices. Thus, the aim of this
study was to conduct a literature review of the production of scientific studies on public
policies of solidarity economy in order to verify which public policies were created at the
federal, state and municipal levels to foster Solidary Economy. To this end, a bibliographic
survey was conducted with exploratory and descriptive purpose, considering a qualitative
approach of the scientific studies analyzed. The results show that political actions to foster
this type of economy have coverage in the three governmental spheres and have been
getting increasing support from governments. These advances are essential for the
consolidation of the solidarity economy as a development strategy and policy.
