Resumo
The state of Amapá has several natural elements that can be adequately used by Geotourism, but which lack more excellent scientific knowledge and planning. This work aims to present a proposal for a fluvial geotourism route on the Amazon River between the cities of Macapá and Santana, including natural and cultural elements, where geodiversity is the protagonist. This route is evaluated qualitatively by the values of geodiversity and by the abiotic ecosystem services, following a methodology developed from the works of Silva and Nascimento (2016), Brilha et al. (2018) and Gray (2018). Initially, a bibliographic survey was carried out on the bases of Scielo, Portal de Periódicos Capes / MEC and Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations and secondary data were searched on the IBGE and CPRM cartographic bases. Primary data on geodiversity, biodiversity and cultural aspects were obtained from field visits carried out between the months of October 2019 and March 2020. Subsequently, these data were evaluated in order to select relevant aspects for the preparation of the itinerary. As a result, the São José de Macapá Fortress, the Fazendinha beach, the old port of ICOMI (manganese mining company), the mouth of the Vila Nova river and the Recanto da Aldeia beach were the chosen attractions. From the data collected, the economic, aesthetic, cultural, scientific/educational and functional values and the abiotic ecosystem services of provision, support, regulation, cultural and knowledge were identified. This itinerary has the potential to foster the economic activity of tourism, generating income and jobs for the population, evoking a sustainable perception of nature for visitors and the local population, as well as a sense of cultural appreciation and belonging to the place.
