Kali-Angra: o processo criativo de uma HQtrônica cyberpunk feminista

Abstract

This research aims to create an original digital comic book (HQtrônica) and present the creative process of its conception using the resources of the science fiction subgenre, Cyberpunk, seeking to address the problem of gender violence in Brazil through a dystopian and futuristic narrative. This study is dedicated to presenting an overview of cyberpunk imagery and subculture through the analysis of multimedia examples, in addition to introducing the uniqueness of HQtrônicas and the revolution they have brought to the independent comic book scene, and discussing the alarming crisis of security and gender violence that currently affects hundreds of Brazilians. This theoretical-practical investigation ultimately results in the publication of the HQtrônica “Kali-Angra” on digital platforms.
