O fazer literário como bricolagem: por uma poética do resto

Abstract

This article discusses literary creation as bri- colage, as foretold by Benjamin. The poet is compared to the ragpicker. By evoking knowledge that has been silenced by hegemony, he establishes a dissident way, going against the grain of history, of narrating life and society. Some of Carolina Maria de Jesus’s writings in Quarto de despejo are analyzed to understand how this bricolage process manifests itself in literary writing that is a discourse of resistance. Occupying a marginal place in society, the author uses fragments and remains she finds in her daily life to construct her texts. In a kind of bricolage, Jesus weaves narratives that denounce the socio-psychological suffering of those who inhabit the margins of Brazilian society.
