Resumo
Cora Coralina’s path is the most recent touristic product offered at Goiás’ state. To give it the
needed visibility, it betted on its name as the main marketing and commercialization point. Cora Coralina
is Goiás’ most important poet and was a literary highlight. Thus, it was supposed that the construction of
a path based on her work would reflect its art by means of an encounter with places she lived at or
described. The objective of this essay is analyzing the Path’s characteristics amongst governmental
intentionality into its naming associated with the renowned poet. It is concluded that even though the
ecotouristic path may become successful, and with time make Cora Coralina known as a touristic route, it
can distance her name from the literary origins by which she became famous.
