Resumo

The purpose of this article is to reflect, from the Will of Truth notion, the way in which the scientific discourse erases the subjectivity marks in the lexical-grammatical structure of the enunciation, in order to establish a perspective as the absolutely truth. Starting from a qualitative approach, we developed an exploratory research, using the hypothetical-deductive method, aiming to describe, to analyze and to interpret a scientific article abstract as representative materiality of the enunciations reproduced by the scientific discourse. In this way, we look at the linguistic structure of the discursive genre, relating it to the social structure. We aimed a deep analysis of a short text rather than a shallow analysis of an extensive corpus. For this purpose, we used as part of the theoretical-methodological mainstay: Couto (2007, 2016), in order to use the ecolinguistic epistemology; Halliday e Matthiessen (2014), contributing to the analysis and the description of the corpus through the functional grammar; Nietzsche (2006), supporting the discussion based on the Will of Truth concept; and Foucault (1995), contributing with the subjectivity concept. The scientific discourse, regularly, try to erase the speaker as an individual, in order to legitimize the objectivity in the enunciation and the science status of absolutely truth, aiming to superimpose, consequently, the individual subjectivity, attributing to a larger entity (some theoretical-epistemological perspective) the enunciation authorship.
