Resumo
This article assumes that the psychology project elaborated by L.S. Vygotsky
is organized as a triadic structure, precisely speaking: as general, particular and
concrete psychology, which express his commitment to the construction of a scientific
psychology based on the dialectical materialism. I briefly outline current issues that
disturb more detailed studies on Vygotsky´s oeuvre, as well as the manner by which
Spinoza´s philosophy appears within it. Thereupon, it is explained how Vygotsky aimed
at composing a single framework to the psychology of emotions/affections, inside
which the diversity of emotional life (experiences, as well as behaviours) should be
arranged. To Vygotsky, Spinoza´s philosophy would play an utmost important role on emotional regulation. I finish the article indicating some ideas based on Spinoza to an
approach of emotions/affections towards a “concrete human psychology” of
personality/person.
