Coleta e aproveitamento de água de aparelhos de ar-condicionado

Abstract

Water is essential to life and development. Therefore it is very important to take advantage of alternative sources. In this sense the objective of this work is to evaluate the efficiency of a water collection and utilization system of air conditioners. To this end, a qualitative and quantitative study of a system, implemented in 2015 at the Goiás Regional Engineering and Agronomy Council (CREA-GO), which is in operation in order to achieve the mentioned objective, is exposed. In this work interesting results are presented, which were obtained through data processing originated from measurement records made with modern technology equipment. Concerning the product quality (condensed water), laboratory tests were performed whose results allow a correct qualitative evaluation, making possible through data relatedto the daily volume of water withdrawn from the system, to supply the demand of certain activities, considering the principle of rational use.
