Educação Física e educação ambiental: refletindo sobre a formação e atuação docente

Resumo

This article presents research developed on the Physical Education Faculty, Goiás Federal University (Brazil), with resources from PROLICEN, about the insertion of content "Practice Body Adventure [in nature] - PCANs" and its relation to the Environmental Education - EA, in the initial training in Physical Education and teacher performance in public schools in the Goiânia (GO) city. It was observed, from bibliographical and documentary research, there are few courses in Physical Education of Federal Universities that include such content, indicating a gap to be filled. On the other hand, observing the field of teaching in public schools, the data indicate that these contents are considered important, although this does not appear in the planes of the teachers. According to them, this is due to gap in training, lack of adequate space and equipment and not to include these issues in the training continue.
