Abstract

This article intends find out the relationship between Geography and Lterature. The objective is to disclose literature as source of geographical knowledge from the interpretation of representation of the cultural landscape shown in the roman space O Fiel e a Pedra. The categories Cultural Landscape and Representation refers to the cultural perspective in Geography. In the article, literature is considered as a representation of reality and Cultural Landscape sign of the human interation with environment. Representation is seen as a way of comprehension and communication of that we already know. Therefore way, the is the representation and the experience the pernambucano” way of being materialized in the literary language. The methodological procedureused was the reading and the interpretation of representation of cultural landscape manifested on the text.
