Observação inclusiva: o uso da tecnologia assistiva na experimentação no ensino de química

Resumo

Experiments generate information that is usually collected by the visual sense, as mass and volume measurements. These activities are considered problematic for the visually impaired by we use generally the view as measures tool. Assistive technology can be an alternative to neutralize originated barriers of disability, providing more independence for the development of these students, who actively participate in the experiments. This research deals with the use of assistive technology for the preparation of mixtures and discussion of his concept in an Institution Support Visually Impaired. It contains research-action elements, it was born of a need to practice: teaching chemistry to visually impaired through experiments. Our results show that visually impaired people participate in experiments and organize their knowledge as any other individual, provided they are conducted in investigative practices considering its specificity.
