Geomorfologia e turismo no município de Pirenópolis (GO)

Resumo

The municipality of Pirenópolis (GO) is rich in tourist attractions, receiving attention for exuberance and uniqueness of natural landscapes, which are directly related to the geomorphological aspects. Waterfalls, rapids and viewpoints present at the council have their genesis associated with geomorphology. Aiming to conserve and preserve the elements relating to the physical, geomorphological and geological aspects, arises the geotourism, segment of ecotourism that aims to promote the development geotouristic based on the analysis and interpretation of landscapes with an educational character to the practice of tourism. In this context, the paper aims to demonstrate the intrinsic relationship between geomorphology and tourism, based on geotouristic landscapes, from the case study of the Pirenópolis (GO). It can be concluded that the practice in tourism Pirenópolis is intrinsically linked to natural heritage, and geomorphology at the base of the formation of landscapes geotouristic and that relations between topography, vegetation and water resources make up the main object of tourist attraction. The tourism planning appropriate should consider the geotouristic informations because can support the definition of actions, such as the creation of tourist routes, schemes of interpretation of natural heritage and environmental education projects.
