Resumo

This article, firstly, proposes the presentation of some elements that have marked the history of discourses in relation to disabled people and, in a way, putting in evidence that they pertain to an amalgamated history of madness as recounted by Foucault (2017). The idea is to establish relationships between the aforementioned discourses and their capture by the normalization device, represented by a net of power and knowledge that acts upon individuals, turning them into objects and subjects of this action which, by itself, takes on the politics of valuing the differences and conforms to the society’s capitalist and neoliberal molds. In effect, the present text, being grounded on Bakhtinian precepts, points to a possible scape from this net as a singular act birthed from the asymmetric encounter that the “different” provides, having in mind the “exotopic potencial” (BAKHTIN, 2011) of inclusive politics in education.
