Viabilidade financeira da produção de pinhão manso irrigado no cerrado

Resumo

The economic viability of an agricultural enterprise such as irrigation is influenced by the system's implementation and maintenance costs. These vary depending on the design water flow and water irrigated in crop cycle. So, the objective of this study was to verify the economic viability of the Jatropha plants irrigated by microsprinkler in the Goiás state. The experiment was conducted in the experimental area of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Goiânia-GO, Brazil. The experimental design was in a randomized block with four replicates. The treatments consisted of four irrigation levels, calculated on the basis of percentages of Class A tank (ECA) evaporation (0, 40, 80 and 120%). For the economic viability analysis, the productivity data of the no-irrigated treatment and the best irrigation treatment were used. Technical coefficients of jatropha cultivation were obtained for the region of Goiânia and the software AMAZONSAF-EMBRAPA was used for the calculation of economic indicators. The results showed that there was no economic viability of the production of jatropha, for no-irrigated and irrigated conditions in Goiás.
