| dc.description.abstract | This text brings some initial considerations about a more in-depth debate that we are proposing on the use of municipal school atlases in the scope of educational curricular policies. It is a more in-depth reading of what we have in the official documents, within the scope of educational curricular policies, on the teaching of Geography, and more specifically on Cartography and the study of the place and what we have in the municipal school atlases as a work methodology and teacher training. The purpose of this essay is to expand this debate with other pairs of School Cartography in order to better understand how the study of the place, through the mediation of school atlases, is contributing to the development of students' spatial thinking and geographic reasoning. | |
| dc.description.resumo | Esse texto traz algumas considerações iniciais acerca de um debate mais aprofundado que estamos propondo sobre o uso dos atlas escolares municipais no âmbito das políticas curriculares educacionais. Trata-se de uma leitura mais aprofundada do que temos nos documentos oficiais, no âmbito das políticas curriculares educacionais, sobre o ensino de Geografia, e mais especificamente da Cartografia e do estudo do lugar e o que temos nos atlas escolares municipais enquanto uma metodologia de trabalho e de formação do professor. A proposta desse ensaio é ampliar esse debate junto a outros pares da Cartografia Escolar a fim de compreender melhor de que forma o estudo do lugar, a partir da mediação dos atlas escolares, está contribuindo para desenvolver o pensamento espacial dos alunos e o raciocínio geográfico. | |
