In winter, the characteristic climate of Goiânia is related to synoptic conditions and in this period
corresponds mainly to the influence of the central action of the South Atlantic Anticyclone,
individualized air mass while Tropical Atlantic (Ta). This system provides atmospheric atmospheric
stability, sunny day and no precipitation. Heatstroke reaches its maximum, around 270 hours in the
month (CAMPOS, et al., 2003). This implies that, with temperatures that Goiânia In winter, the
characteristic climate of Goiânia is related to synoptic conditions and in this period mainly corresponds to the Influence of the central action of the South Atlantic Anticyclone, individualized air
mass while Tropical Atlantic (Ta). This system provides atmospheric atmospheric stability, sunny day
and no precipitation. Heatstroke reaches its maximum, around 270 hours in the month (CAMPOS, et
al., 2003). This implies that, Goiânia that shows temperatures during this time accompanied by the
situation of low relative humidity. However, the activities of society have brought about change in the
behavior of climate, particularly in relation to air temperature and relative humidity. Since the
conditions offered by the action of atmospheric systems operating in South America, the physicogeographical,
stands out here continentality effect, Goiânia is naturally conducive to elevated
temperature and low humidity. Upon removal of vegetation, growth of the city, sealing surfaces,
vehicle traffic automores, among others, of course which represents climatic condition of hot, dry
weather through human intervention there is an power increase in temperature and relative humidity
decrease in the air. Thus, this paper presents analysis hipóstes weather trend, in order to contribute to
the understanding of the trends indicated for the parameters of the climate and temperature of the air
relative humidity, to the city of Goiânia-GO. It was contemplated series of 48 years, using data from
climatological station main Goiânia, linked to the network of the National Institute of Meteorology
(INMET), 10th District of Meteorology Goiás, Tocantins (10th DISME), located at 16 ° 40'S and 49 °
15 'W and 741.48 m above sea level for the period 1961 to 2008. The tests of hypotheses were applied
simple linear regression analysis and nonparametric Mann-Kendall Seasonal according to Hirsch et al.
(1982). The results show forthe the last 48 years, a positive trend towards air temperature range,
between 0.8 to 2.4 °C in air power increase temperature (maximum and minimum) and negative trend
series for relative humidity, indicating a possible decrease of 6,9%.
