Resumo
Bearing in mind the absences of women as artists in art history and the problems of their representations, we search in our experiences as women artists who relate to feminist and social movements, and with teacher training in process, a means of dialogue with the narratives of other women activists in order to narrow the pedagogical and the political in the teaching of visual arts. We intend to explore the narratives and memories of resistance of women who compose or composed feminist groups or movements, to understand how their experiences, interests and symbols can dialogue with our experiences, reflecting about the demands and how to intertwine the issues and discussions of this environment to the teaching of art at school. Through the narratives of women with a background in activism and who call themselves feminists, we are willing to analyze points of approximation and distance between them, based on their reports, as well as the visualities of these movements. We propose the development of a poetic production as one of the processes and results of the research, characterized by the feminist perspective in the visual and narrative discourse, which has the potential to be work in the field of visual arts.
