Fake news como representação da violência: o caso do kit gay

Abstract

Using the Dialogal Model of Argumentation (PLANTIN, 2008, GRÁCIO, 2013), this study intend to show how fake news (ELLISON & BOYD, 2013) act as a manifestation of violence, in an interaction on social networks. We seek to analyse the conflict (stasis) between people on the Facebook platform, which has proved to be an effective stage for controversies (AMOSSY, 2017). In the current context of interaction provided by online platforms, social networks are democratic and easily accessible tools, but with rare violent content, as well as fertile ground for the spread of fake news, the focus of this research.
