Abstract

This research stemmed from a personal journey focusing on the recovery of childhood memories lost due to a flood, investigating self-portraiture as a tool for self-exploration. The work proposed the contemplation of a forgotten scenario and the acceptance of the irreversibility of time and "drowned memories." To this end, I experimented with painting on canvas, photography, and video performance, combined with music as a trigger for recollections.
