Abstract

This research discusses the practical-artistic construction of the Father series, composed of questions involving the harmful paternity present in the myth of Kronos, where the theoretical character converges mythology and iconography through the psychological analysis of the myth, specifically entering into the paternal question, based on the iconographic representation of Kronos present in the history of art added to the interpretation of the myth in order to conceive the coherent narrative of Kronos as a mirror of humanity, specifically the human personification of the father figure, with interference from the artist's personal life and daily artistic, theoretical and literary references in the interpretation of the father-son relationship expressed in the myth.
