Resumo
This work explores the intersection between photography, circular fashion, and memory, highlighting the innovative potential of cyanotype as a printing
technique on second-hand clothing. This historical practice finds renewal by incorporating elements of individual and collective memory, creating a bridge
between past and present in contemporary fashion. When applied to used garments, this technique grants each piece a unique authenticity, reviving the concept of circular fashion. The research proposes a vision for the future of fashion in which each garment becomes a link between past and present, between individual experience and collective awareness, marking a significant step toward a more authentic and mindful fashion. Furthermore, the application of cyanotype on used clothing not only enhances circular sustainability but also promotes a new form of artistic and personal expression. By incorporating photographs and images with emotional meaning, the garments become vehicles for personal and cultural stories—turning into wearable memories that transcend mere consumption. This approach challenges traditional fashion practices, encouraging a deeper reflection on the value of family memories, the life cycle of clothing, and the impact of fashion on identity and culture.
