Item Homicídios contra a juventude negra na região metropolitana de Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-10-29) Araújo, Rárea Géssica Porto; Oliveira, Dijaci David de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9145111011143886; Oliveira, Dijaci David de; Bungenstab, Gabriel Carvalho; Durães, Telma Ferreira do NascimentoThe reality of a black person in Brazil is still full of discrimination and prejudice. So far, the national discourse of "Racial Harmony" is a myth and it hasn't been part of the population's reality. Nowadays, the increase of homicidal violence spreads the feeling of insecurity and fear on the population in general. But that increase is not the same for all and it has its effects more on young black people. This work discuss about racial relationships, homicides of black youth and racism on Região Metropolitana de Goiânia (RMG). The main goal is to try to understand why does this homicides focus more on black youth than white youth. Despite social and economic progress, between 2006 and 2016 the numbers has increased and in general, black youth is the greatest victim of the homicides that happens on RMG and in Brazil. In fact, the contemporary context of black lives indicates the persistence of social inequality that really affects black lives, leading to dramatic social consequences such as racial disparities seen on statistical data, on observations of racial relationships from the field of study and in the analysis about violence in Brazil. The numbers of homicides of young, black male on RMG can be considered as the reflex and reproduction of racism that leads to inequality and make them appear natural. By the side of other vulnerabilities from the black population such as disparity of income distribution, education and work, racism contributes to the vulnerability of this people to violence, the lack of identity and territory and also to the reproduction of institutionalized practices of racial discrimination against young black people who are more targeted by homicidesItem A militância político-torcedora no campo futebolístico brasileiro(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-06) Gomes, Vitor; Trejo, Fernando Segura Millán; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7844345995623892; Trejo, Fernando Segura Millán; Santos, Cleito Pereira dos; Narcizo, Makchwell Coimbra; Sofiati, Flavio MunhozThis dissertation has as its central theme the phenomenon of soccer fan political groups in Brazil. Most of them originated between 2013 and 2014, due to the changes brought to Brazil by the reception of the 2014 World Cup, the groups were formed from the club identification and common political affiliation among its members. The guidelines to their performances deal with a series of different oppression processes identified in Brazilian soccer, such as sexism, homophobia, racism and the elitization of stadiums. These groups use social media, especially Facebook, as the main way of spreading their ideas and actions, sharing characteristics with contemporary social movements network, as described by Manuel Castells. The analysis of this research is based centrally on Pierre Bourdieu's concept of field, which had the investigation about the power and hierarchy relations between different groups of agents located in the brazilian soccer field as a reserach problem. The soccer team fan groups, are new social constructions and considered outsiders, engaging to dispute influence with better-established agents, such as the media and communication groups, state representatives, sports institutions and the torcidas organizadas, which hold similarities with ultras in Europe and the barras in Latin America. The production of data was based on the observation of the digital pages of all the collectives and on interviews with two specific groups, "Palmeiras Antifascista" and "Palmeiras Livre". The results show these groups occupying a position of little influence and hierarchy among the analyzed agents. While trying to influence the discourses produced about soccer and politics in the media, the collectives will face a certain type of regionalism as a reactionary force and obstacle to the possibility of national articulation between them, the groups of fans from different brazilian clubs, as well as the tense relations involving contact with torcidas organizadas of football.Item A política de previdência social e os direitos LGBT no Brasil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-07-02) Irineu, Bruna Andrade; Almeida Neto, Luiz Mello de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1951913717385648; Almeida Neto, Luiz Mello de; Novaes, Liliane Capilé Charbel; Souza, Marta Rovery deThis dissertation has as an object of study the demands of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvestites and transsexuals (LGBT) in the area of public politics in the brazilian social security system formulation.
