Item Espaços de refúgio em Pirenópolis: uma análise fenomenológica e sensorial do habitar na natureza(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-03-26) Furtado, Maria Cristina de Oliveira; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5246618096427219; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; Mello, Fernando Antônio Oliveira; Badan, Rosane CostaThe present master thesis deals with the spaces of refuge existing in the surroundings of the city of Pirenópolis and what are the material and symbolic elements that bring to these places an atmosphere of cosiness and peace. In big cities, man is increasingly disconnected from nature and therefore some people seek to inhabit less urbanized places. Among the motivations is the feeling of security, decreasing in the city. The nature that inspired danger today is the place of protection of modern life. The theoretical discussion covers several areas of study that are in line with the architectural phenomenology approach. Within this context, the philosopher Gaston Bachelard and architect Christian Norberg-Schulz form the basis of the analysis methodology. A tectonic expression and the sensorial aspects of the complementary spaces or theoretical referentials, being important in the realized analyzes. All of them are in tune with the postmodern paradigms of contemporary dwelling, where the object of study is located. The data gathering was carried out through bibliographical, documentary and field research. The interviews are of the type unstandardized and were made with residents of the spaces of refuge. In the final chapter, the analysis of three houses was first carried out, detailing the information about them. In a second moment, the analysis is based on the outstanding elements of the theoretical reference, where besides the three spatialities highlighted, there are also symbolic and sensorial aspects of other raised domestic refuges. In this way, the research proposed to understand ways of living that are in contact with nature and that establish a deep connection between the inhabitant and the place. It is also observed how the theories related to the phenomenology of the architecture are present in the spaces studied.Item Cidades na cidade: habitação social e produção do espaço urbano em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-01-29) Lucas, Edinardo Rodrigues; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4793942T7; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; Moraes, Lúcia Maria de; Barreira, Celene Cunha Monteiro AntunesGreat deal of Brazilian cities’ territory could show urban quality of excellence if the state as a funding entity and a promoter of urban interventions such as the construction of housing projects put value on the project. Goiânia, capital of Goiás state, is a city that was planned in the early 1930s to house 50,000 inhabitants. In 2015, its population exceeds 1.4 million people. In addition to the original city plan — made by architects Attilio Corrêa Lima and, later, Armando de Godoy —, a significant part of its urban fabric had an effective participation of the State in its building by conducting and implementing housing projects of social interest. This study aimed to think of Goiânia’s urban space production that was a result from housing developments undertaken by local government, since the early days of territory occupation to the present day. It focuses on architecture and urbanism based on the idea that a social housing plan needs a clear understanding of past processes and of scars left in the territory. To understand the current and past processes was necessary to seek theoretical frameworks that conceptualize housing and city also in its subjective dimensions expanding the possibilities of analysis. In a second step it was necessary to establish a research methodology that would enable the analysis at different scales (municipal and enterprise) reaching satisfactory results formatted based on quality parameters from different authors. Done methodology, research brings a periodization of the issue of housing in Goiania analyzing aspects of the production of urban space in the municipal scale and highlighting projects that are analyzed in more detail. The mapping and analysis of the production of detailed urban space in two main case studies (Conjunto Vera Cruz and Residencial Jardim Cerrado) allows reflect on the projective premises that contribute to the creation of qualified spaces for full human development. Research results lead to the understanding that a social housing project must be connected to a city project. Thus, promoting the right to housing becomes a tool for a city that was born as planned one to regain control of its expansion by producing and managing urban space to ensure good living conditions for the whole of the population.Item Habitar o espaço público: reflexões sobre apropriação e morfologia urbana na Vila Itatiaia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-08-29) Melo, Camila Arantes de; Alcalá, Laura Inés; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4793942T7; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; Alcalá, Laura Inés; Mello, Márcia Metran de; Boaventura, Deusa Maria RodriguesThe city of Goiania, created in 1930’s decade to be Goias new capital, is inserted in a modern cities context, which design prized the rationality of the road system, urban zoning and green areas. However, the urban expansion control did not follow the ideals sought in its construction. The city developed in a sparse way potentialized in the 1960s by the construction of numerous housing complexes in its urban peripheries. These complexes also contributed to the diversity of urban forms present in the new capital. Its paradigmatic plans show the growing design culture in the city, also originated by the immigration of several professionals from other Brazilian capitals. Still, the form of these hounsing complexes were idealized by its urban quality, but your peripheral implantation, without proper infrastructure and isolated from the urban center influenced in an incisive way the post-occupation. The Vila Itatiaia is an example of this, whose project designed by Grupo Quatro Arquitetura in the 1970’s privileged its system of green areas and the public and private spaces joint. The project sought to provide an environmental quality through the houses and nature conection, and broad public spaces for social practices. Athough, the pubic management neglect with these areas generated different appropriation processes by their residents. This research proposes the analysis of the transformation process in Vila Itatiaia’s public spaces, from the perpective of the social practices, and the influence of its urban morphology. It is also the purpose understand the mechanisms used by their residents to restructure this urban space in question. With this, the analysis developed through two approaches, the analysis of physical aspects and the social aspects, those are subjective order and come from the ethnographic method, in order to experience the territory and select the most significant forms of appropriation in its public spaces. Reinforcing the nexus between the project and the construction of the inhabited space, the research brings the opportunity to understand the territorial occupation process through social housing, as well as to produce data to guide future investigations or intervention projects in the area.Item Edifícios habitacionais em altura no Setor Central de Goiânia (1953-1975): análise tipo-morfológica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-06-29) Romualdo, Elana da Silva; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5246618096427219; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; Mahler, Christine Ramos; Cunha, Marcio CotrimThe housing buildings in height were evident in the horizontalized landscape of Goiânia from the beginning of the 1950s and represent a new alternative to inhabit the middle and upper-class population in the Central Sector of the city. Shortly before, on a national and international level, collective housing manifests itself as an important theme discussed, analyzed and developed by modern architects and incorporated into the new architectural typologies that will design cities. The buildings studied in this research form part of this production. However, it comprises only the vertically integrated collective dwellings which, for the city and the state, represent an important modern collection that, at the same time, transforms the urban scene. The present research seeks to understand the relationship between these buildings and the urban structure planned by the urban architect Attílio Corrêa Lima. It is based on the context of modern national and international architecture and proposes to identify in these buildings the defining elements and characteristics of this architecture. These were constructed in two periods: the first between 1953 and 1964, which marks the construction of the first buildings and the beginning of the verticalization of the city, and the second between 1965 and 1975 with a more significant production, visible changes in the urban panorama, the construction companies and the acceptance of the apartments as a modern dwelling. It was necessary to establish criteria for categorization, understanding and identification of the morphological typologies presented. The mapping and analysis of the works were synthesized seeking the integral reflection of the whole. The in-depth design studies allowed the understanding of some specimens that, in a way, provided the knowledge of the totality. Thus, the housing in height, promoted the expansion of this architectural typology in the city, becoming a defining element of the urban landscape and an indispensable typology in the formation of the city.Item Arquitetos associados e espaço: tradição e modernidade nas obras de um quarteto de formação mineira(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-09-09) Silva, José Renato de Castro e; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5246618096427219; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5246618096427219; Frota, José Artur D’Aló; Badan, Rosane Costa; Mello, Fernando Antonio OliveiraThis research provides an analysis of the academic and the professional performance of four architects, graduated at the Architecture School of Minas Gerais - Elias Daud Neto, Eduardo Simões Barbosa, Carlos Fernando Rabelo and Roberto Benedetti. During approximate four years (1969-1973), the quartet has developed projects and constructions in Goiânia, with the foundation of Arquitetos Associados S/C office. Later, starting from 1974, only two of them - Eduardo Simoes Barbosa and Carlos Fernando Rabelo - continued with the associated activity creating a new office called Espaço - Planning Team, Architecture and Consulting Ltda. The object of study is the production ensemble of these offices in the context of Goiânia, city created and consolidated in the light of modern ideals. The dissertation arouses a systematic reflection on the work of these architects, place it in the local and regional modern architecture scene and, when rescue her from the anonymity, establishes confrontations with important works of brazilian architecture. The investigation on them projective processes has as reference some based sampling of their basilar projects. The research was subsidized by consultation in primary sources of the office acquis, by the visits to the constructions and interviews with architects, clients and employees. These procedures help to understand in what ways the quartet contributed to the formation and consolidation of a local architectural culture, in the tenue and inaccurate transition between the modern and the postmodern. Thus, this dissertation inaugurate the fill of an important gap in the history of Goianiense architectural production, at the same time that launches a necessary database for future researchs about these architects works. Pathfinders professionals that, in this actuations, legitimized the process of Goiânia construction.
