Item Proposta de um sistema de gestão da efetividade de cursos de engenharia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-06-20) Pinto, Felipe Pereira; Sousa, George Wagner Leão e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1372987452901677; Severino, Maico Roris; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2546008836929749; Sousa, George Wagner Leão e; Silva, Messias Borges; Galo, Nadya Regina; Severino, Maico RorisThis text presents research related to the effectiveness of engineering teaching. It was carried out in the context of the creation of a transformation office for the Graduate Course in Industrial Systems Engineering at the Federal University of Goiás (CGEP-UFG). The objective of the study was to propose an effectiveness management system (EMS) capable of measuring the degree to which an engineering course fulfills its purpose, and thus support the direction of its transformation initiatives. In order to deal with this socio-technical challenge, the method adopted followed the greater logic of action research, where the investigation effort interferes with the investigated object. The peculiar nature of the research object led to careful contextualization of the systemic approach to guide the intervention. There was a conscious effort to situate the object's life cycle as an engineered system, that is, as a system created by human beings, endowed with an objective and subject to interpretation of effectiveness. Thus, the influence of the engineering approach itself in bringing an engineering course into existence was recognized, which, when in operation, creates engineers who, in turn, contribute to engineering other systems for the benefit of society. Following this rationale, some principles of Systems Engineering and Design Science Research (DSR) were adopted in order to pursue this hierarchical ordering of considerations. The method led to the creation of an effectiveness model based on the principles advocated by the CDIO Initiative (Conceiving-Designing-Implementing-Operating), which was configured based on survey fundamentals and instrumented as part of the SGE. In this way, a means of converting subjective perceptions of 12 intangible attributes into a normalized quantitative framework was established. A scale of 0 to 100 was adopted for each effectiveness attribute that makes up the model, where 0 represents empty and 100 represents full. The implementation of the SGE at CGEP-UFG provided an illustration of the functioning of the measurement instrument, through which the value of 47 was measured for the current state of effectiveness of the course, calculated from 37 individual evaluations collected. These results should be expanded in future works in order to provide statistical interpretations with a greater degree of confidence. Its use in the real case described here evidences the materialization of a sophisticated feedback loop: the current effectiveness informs transformation decisions that affect the effectiveness in the future – ideally establishing a powerful virtuous cycle of evolution. Given its generic structure, the SGE can be integrated into any engineering course.Item Proposta de relato integrado de valor para um curso de graduação em engenharia em uma universidade pública(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-12-12) Santos, Diorgenes dos; Sousa, George Wagner Leão e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1372987452901677; Severino, Maico Roris; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2546008836929749; Severino, Maico Roris; Soares, Júlio César Valandro; Zaro, Elise Soerger; Sousa, George Wagner Leão eThis research addresses the challenge that governance and management represent for public organizations, specifically an undergraduate course at a public university, and the need for tools that help in the task of analyzing, relating and interpreting information, minimizing risks and presenting important findings on how enterprises generate value for their stakeholders. The research proposes the structuring of an Integrated Value Report for an undergraduate course at a public university in the state of Goiás. It seeks to build the basis of the model, with a literature review on the CDIO Initiative, Management System with Agile SD as a control architecture approach and Integrated Reporting, seeking to determine the necessary requirements for the implementation of an Integrated Report and considering the possible definition of the Generic Architecture of Integrated Value Reporting for an undergraduate engineering course. The CDIO approach supports the understanding of the system's life cycle, considering interactions, innovation, improvement, user needs and technological constraints. Agile SD aids the understanding of causal relationships that influence past and future performance. Despite the growing importance of integrated reporting for governance and management, there is a lack of studies on integrated value reporting applied to undergraduate courses. This study seeks to fill this gap by proposing an integrated value reporting model for an undergraduate engineering course at a public university in the state of Goiás. This study will use a case study to verify and analyze the feasibility of implementing an Integrated Reporting model applied to an undergraduate course. The study will be carried out in an undergraduate engineering course at a public university in the state of Goiás. Overall, this study has presented solutions, tools and processes that can improve information management practices from an Integrated Value Reporting perspective, making a broad contribution to the maturing of governance and a specific contribution to the structuring of management processes from a systemic perspective, enabling greater precision on the points of investigation for decision-making and guiding the evolution of courses, which in turn can contribute to increasing their maturity.Item Abordagem sustentável de consultoria integrada para aumento de produtividade em micro-pequenas empresas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-05-10) Valle, Éverton Fleury Victorino; Severino, Maico Roris; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2546008836929749; Severino, Maico Roris; Santos, Luciano Costa; Fonseca, Marcelo NunesIn an increasingly competitive scenario, companies that embrace sustainable practices have greater competitive advantages and contribute to society through sustainable development. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are an interesting object of study due to their peculiar behavior and the need for external assistance to implement practices of this nature. There is a vast international literature on the application of sustainable practices, but in a reduced universe when the focus is on SMEs, and especially when it comes to environmental consultancy and productivity for SMEs. Thus, the general objective of this research is to provide a sustainable integrated consulting approach to increase productivity in SMEs. Therefore, a bibliometric study was carried out to identify the main practices discussed in the literature, as well as barriers and drivers for their adoption. With the identification of these practices, an internal mapping of the SENAI Institute of Technology in Automation was carried out to diagnose the current situation and possibilities for implementing the practices used by the institution. Flowcharts were drawn, as well as an AS IS and TO BE proposal and a standardization of processes was defined for certain consulting services, detailed in three levels of implementation. Indirect gains were also highlighted. Finally, the tools were selected and defined to demonstrate their applicability in consulting methods. Among the solutions developed, the Sustainable Value Stream Map (SUS-VSM) and the General Environmental Effectiveness of Equipment (OEEE) stand out for immediate applications and the use of global indicators such as the Eco-indicator for future applications. Thus, this work has as its main contribution the demonstration of a sustainable and integrated approach to consulting for MSEs in Brazil, based on a case study.
