Resumo
This work seeks to analyze the communicative interactions between teachers and students in
the “Guided Study” classes at the Full-Time Teaching Center – CEPI – Gomes de Souza
Ramos, in the city of Anápolis – GO. The analysis material was 20 classes of this subject. In
this research, Ecosystem Discourse Analysis (ADE) was used, as well as its fundamentals
characteristics. As for the methodology, it is qualitative and interpretive in nature, in
accordance with the principles of this theory. The research proposes a reflection on the
gestures of communion present in interactions between students and teacher that take place
within the scope of the proposals of the mentioned discipline. We investigated how these
gestures in communicative interactions, as well as the contents and pedagogical proposals of
the subject, may or may not contribute to helping with difficulties related to other subjects and
in the development of linguistic-discursive skills. To understand whether the gestures of
communion present in these interactions point to effectiveness or not in helping with
difficulties and improving skills, some descriptions and transcriptions of the classes were
used, as well as the application of a form containing questions about the subject. for students
and teachers. The purpose of collecting these materials is due to the fact that we investigate
the meanings of the speeches, dialogues, contents and words used by these individuals in
interaction with the aim of analyzing both the proposals and objectives and the contents of the
“Guided Study”. Thus, the results of this research present gestures of communion that are
important for teaching-learning and that can still be discussed and analyzed in order to
develop new practices with the aim of helping ninth-grade students.
