dc.description.abstractThe present dissertation analyze the representation between the rural and urban in one district in the city of Uberlândia (MG) calling as Cruzeiro dos Peixotos, For this, the analyze was realize in three moments, first, by analyze of local history and the bibliographic of the theme in the Social Science. The last two chapter of the study covers the urban representation, through of the rural work, by Folia de Reis. For this, analyses beteween the “inside” and “the outside” (or “others”), was constantly addressed. Finally, this work search, through the district, understand and explain what specific classification limit places which are located in the “inset” rural/urban, and the analyze of the native representation are fundamental for understand the possibility of this transit between this two possible universe of the district. Terms like hybridity and continuun will be addressed.eng

dc.description.resumoA pesquisa abarca análises da representação entre o rural e o urbano em um distrito da cidade de Uberlândia (MG) chamado Cruzeiro dos Peixotos. Para isso, a análise foi realizada em três momentos, primeiramente, através da análise histórica do local e a análise bibliográfica do tema nas Ciências Sociais. Nos dois últimos capítulos o estudo abarca as representações do urbano, através do trabalho e do rural, através da Folia de Reis. Para isso, análises entre os “de dentro” e “os de fora” (ou “outros), foram constantemente abordadas. Enfim, o trabalho busca, através do distrito abordado, compreender e explicar que classificações específicas limitam lugares que se localizam no “entremeio” rural/urbano, e que a análise das representações nativas são fundamentais para compreender a possibilidade desse trânsito entre os dois universos possíveis do distrito. Termos como hibridismo e continuum serão abordados.eng
