Resumo
This work aims to analyze the application and developments of “Law 11,259 / 2015” known as the “Law of Immediate Search” in the State of Goiás. Aiming to understand the look of the public security and assistance system of the State of Goiás on the disappearance in childhood and youth. For this, the information contained in the police report was used to trace the profile of children and adolescents who disappear in the State. In order to identify who are these children and adolescents who tend to disappear in the State of Goiás. In addition, in-depth interviews with public security and assistance agents were added. In order to capture your perceptions about the law of Immediate search in its execution and developments. The first part of the work contains the theoretical methodological framework on disappearances. That addresses the theoretical concepts about the disappearance of people in general; the specificities and typologies of the disappearances of children and adolescents; the disappearances caused by escapes from home and the Law of Immediate Search. Then, in the methodological chapter, it is reported how the research was carried out; the quantitative and qualitative techniques used; research objectives and the method that guided the research. Finally, in the third chapter the results of the fieldwork are presented.
