Resumo

Technologies aimed at renewable energy generation and climate change mitigation have rapidly advanced, with solar photovoltaic energy standing out as a clean and efficient alternative. This study analyzes technological collaboration networks in the development of hybrid solar energy systems from the perspective of open innovation. For this purpose, patents extracted from the Derwent Innovation platform were used as the primary data source, serving as the basis for analysis and interpretation of the results. Through the use of Gephi, it was possible to map interactions among individuals, research institutions, and companies, revealing technological cooperation structures, such as the one led by the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC). The Brazilian context was also considered, focusing on the advances, challenges, and opportunities related to the adoption of these technologies in the country. The results showed that IPC code H02S004044 was the most frequent. China leads both in the volume of patents and in the number of collaborative patents. Among the patents analyzed, only 8% involved some form of collaboration, indicating that, despite the growth in innovation, joint efforts among institutions remain limited.
