dc.description.abstractEthics has as goal the care with Self (conscience), politics, the care with the world. This is, in short, the reason why Hannah Arendt establishes firstly a rupture between ethics and conscience, and secondly between the world and politics. Taking as the principal theoretical point the activity of thinking as both sides are related to thinking the aim of this thesis is to analyze the rupture between ethics and politics according to H. Arendt‟s analyses. This work will show that, in spite of being able to justify such decision, ethics and conscience are not seen as unrelated to the world and that politics can vie equally to the existence of an ethics underlain in thought. Therefore, besides ascertaining the theoretical nature of the rupture, this work aims at questioning this rupture itself. It tries to understand, on the light of the activity of thinking, the rupture between ethics and politics within an exegetic perspective which, however, is not careless to criticseng

dc.description.resumoA ética tem como meta o cuidado com o eu (consciência), a política, o cuidado com o mundo. Eis, em síntese, o motivo pelo qual Hannah Arendt estabelece uma cisão entre a ética e a consciência, de um lado, e o mundo e a política, de outro. Tomando como principal ponto de orientação teórico a atividade de pensar pois que ambos os lados se relacionam com o pensamento , o objetivo desta dissertação será analisar a natureza da cisão entre ética e política segundo as análises de Hannah Arendt. O trabalho tentará mostrar que, mesmo a despeito de se poder justificar tal cisão, a ética e a consciência não se veem desvinculadas do mundo e que a política pode concorrer igualmente para a existência de uma ética fundamentada no pensamento. Neste sentido, o objetivo será não só averiguar a natureza teórica da cisão, mas como igualmente tecer questionamentos a seu respeito. Trata-se, portanto, de buscar compreender, à luz da atividade de pensar, a cisão entre ética e política segundo uma perspectiva exegética que, todavia, não descuide de ser críticapor
