Resumo
In front of the complex issue, that permeates the understanding of the literary text's creation
process, this research, based on the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Genetic Critic,
has the scope of examining how the creative process of Cora Coralina is configured in the work
Poems of the alleys of Goiás and more stories. The Genetic Criticism is an investigation that
understands creation from its construct and brings methodological guidelines that require the
establishment of a new perspective for the investigation of manuscripts such as the elaboration of
a prototext, built operationally by the researcher, from the planning, deciphering, placement and
transcription of documents. In this sense, the purpose of this work is to reveal the phases of the
writing Poems of the alleys of Goiás and more stories and to show the author Cora Coralina in her
literary work, through the contemplation of the provisional, the alternative movements of
substitution, elimination, addition and other erasures contained in the text in her coming to be. In
addition, in possession of the documents left by the writer throughout the creative process, it seeks
to establish links between the data contained there and the product delivered to the public. To this
end, the process writings, the author's interviews that direct poetic creation, and the editions of the
work in question.
