| dc.description.abstract | The assistance to minors in situations of risk and/or vulnerability has gone a long way until reaching the care service system established nowadays. There were centuries of struggles and movements so that, gradually, laws that demanded the improvement of the protection of these minors were created. Children and adolescents, who pass through the care service system, experienced negative experiences, along with traumas, and, without option, move from their homes to an institutional home. A concrete home can cover part of a psychosocial deficit. Thus, considering the importance of this concrete home, the main theme of the dissertation is the (non) existence of the home within the care service system for children and adolescents. This research, approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Goiás, aims to demonstrate the value of architecture within institutional homes, as well as to answer the following questions: can architecture contribute to the meaning of home? How does it influence the care service system? With these aspects being implemented, the resident could be able to feel as belonging and inhabitant as the house, the space, is transformed in a place, a home. For this purpose, research was used, from aspects inseparable from the meaning of home: habitation, territoriality and identity in spaces, domesticity and common everyday life and, consequently, with positive memory as a symbol of affection for a place. Regarding the methodology, were used bibliographic reviews; analysis of the trajectory of the care service for children and adolescents in situations of risk and/or vulnerability; primary documents; on-site visits to an institutional home; photographs of the institutions acquired on-site; obtaining drawings through a focus group with children and adolescents living in institutional homes; image and word dynamics, as well as interviews with the children and the employees. With the results obtained after the application of the methodological procedures, it was possible to interpose, throughout the research, bibliographical references with the materials obtained in the dynamics and in the interviews. In some chapters, based on the author's own analysis and based on the context witnessed in the on-site visits and on the theoretical background, the drawings were interpreted. As a final consideration, there are only a few constituents of the home materialized in surfaces. Thus, no environments were found that invite the hosted to appropriate the space or materialize their identity, so that residents are unable to convey the image they want of the space in which they live. In addition, it is clear that a major gap in the construction of the home is the presence of a temporary nature, which makes belonging very difficult. It is expected that his study and the participative posture of other researches and society to open paths to an individualized and friendly service, in which users identify with the inhabited space, will contribute to building a meaning of home there. | eng |

| dc.description.resumo | A assistência ao menor em situação de risco e/ou vulnerabilidade passou por um grande percurso até chegar ao sistema de serviço de acolhimento, o qual se estabelece nos dias atuais. Foram séculos de lutas e movimentos para que, aos poucos, fossem criadas leis que exigissem a melhoria do amparo a esses menores. As crianças e os adolescentes, que transitam pelo serviço de acolhimento, vivenciaram experiências negativas, junto a traumas vividos, e, sem opção, mudam de suas casas para uma entidade de acolhimento. Um lar concretizado pode suprir parte de um déficit psicossocial. Ao considerar a importância dessa concretização, a dissertação possui como grande tema a (in)existência do lar dentro do serviço de acolhimento para crianças e adolescentes. A presente pesquisa, aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da Universidade Federal de Goiás, tem como objetivo demonstrar o valor da arquitetura dentro dos abrigos institucionais e casas-lares, bem como responder às seguintes questões: a arquitetura pode contribuir para a significação de lar? Como ela influencia no serviço de acolhimento? Para tanto, utilizou-se, à investigação, de aspectos indissociáveis à significação de lar na moradia: habitar, territorialidade e identidade em espaços, domesticidade e cotidiano banal e, consequentemente, com a memória positiva como símbolo de afetividade a um lugar. Com esses aspectos concretizados, o morador poderá sentir-se pertencente e habitante, transformando uma casa, um espaço, em lugar, em um lar. No que concerne à metodologia, recorreu-se a revisões bibliográficas; análise da trajetória do serviço de acolhimento às crianças e aos adolescentes em situações de risco e/ou vulnerabilidade; documentos primários; visitas in loco a um abrigo institucional; fotografias da entidade adquiridas in loco; obtenção de desenhos por meio de grupo focal com acolhidos; dinâmicas de imagem e palavra, além de entrevistas realizadas com os acolhidos e os funcionários. Com os resultados adquiridos após a aplicação dos procedimentos metodológicos, pôde ser realizada uma interposição, durante toda a pesquisa, de referências bibliográficas com os materiais obtidos nas dinâmicas e nas entrevistas. Em alguns capítulos específicos, foi realizada a leitura dos desenhos, a partir de análises da própria autora, baseada no contexto presenciado nas visitas in loco e na bagagem de referencial teórico. Como consideração final, tem-se apenas alguns constituintes do lar materializados em superfícies. Assim não foram encontrados ambientes que convidem os acolhidos a apropriarem-se do espaço ou materializarem a sua identidade, de modo que os moradores não conseguem transmitir a imagem que desejam do espaço em que vivem. Além disso, percebe-se que uma grande defasagem na construção do lar é a provisoriedade constante, que muito dificulta o pertencimento. Este estudo e a postura participativa de outras pesquisas e da sociedade à abertura de caminhos a um atendimento individualizado e afável, no qual os usuários se identifiquem com o espaço habitado, contribuirão para que consigam construir ali uma significação de lar. | pt_BR |
