dc.description.abstractThe main goal of this research is to check and present the distinct dimensions that evolve the county of Anapolis, by a local analysis, observing its characteristic of regional centrality, based on the process of urbanization and industrialization, originating from a national policy imposed by the capital and as a result of an interest on the territorial domain. These propeller events of the dynamics and the flow of the population have determined the peculiar context to the county of Anápolis, since its territorial formation has characterized as responsible for the process of the occupation of Goiás state. Knowing that a city is overall a territory of connections of different interests that interdependently represent the fusion of interferences, influences and define structural elements of space, which establishes a dynamics combined with the economic relations, which reflected directly on the consolidation of Anápolis as an economical regional center, being very important for the urban net of Goiás and Brazil. Further, Anápolis establishes an important connection with the development axis Goiânia- Brasília-Anápolis and its one of the most significant regions of the state, the center of Goiás, that, besides its most significant index, it has metropolitan urban problems, as a result of determined function of middle sized cities, which are objects of frequent researches, because they represent a meaningful sample of cities that are economically active and, however, inhabit a population which is incompatible to its economic realityeng

dc.description.resumoO objetivo deste trabalho é averiguar e apresentar as distintas dimensões que envolvem o município de Anápolis (GO) fazendo, para tanto, uma breve análise local, observando seu caráter de centralidade regional tendo como alicerces os processos de urbanização e industrialização, oriundos de uma política nacional impostos pelo capital e decorrente do interesse de domínio territorial. Estes eventos propulsores da dinâmica e dos fluxos determinaram o contexto peculiar ao município de Anápolis, que desde sua formação territorial se caracterizou como cidade articuladora do processo de ocupação do território goiano. Compreendendo que a cidade é acima de tudo um território de conexões de interesses diversos que interdependentemente representam a fusão de interferências, influências e definem elementos estruturadores do espaço, estabelecendo uma dinâmica aliada às relações econômicas, que refletiram diretamente sobre a consolidação de Anápolis como centro econômico regional articulador de importante abrangência para a rede urbana de Goiás e do Brasil. Além disso, Anápolis estabelece articulação com o Eixo de Desenvolvimento Goiânia- Anápolis-Brasília e uma das principais regiões do estado, o Centro-Goiano que, apesar de índices representativos, apresenta problemas urbanos de caráter metropolitano, resultado da função determinada das cidades médias, que são objetos de constantes pesquisas, pois representam um contingente significativo de cidades que se despontam economicamente e, no entanto, habitam uma população, como no caso de Anápolis, incompatível com sua realidade econômicapor
