Calagem e adubação potássica no crescimento e produtividade de Crambe abyssinica Hortsh Ex. R. T (Brassicaceae)

Resumo

The crambe is a culture that has been outstanding due to its use as an industrial raw material, thus, it is necessary the potentialization both in terms of growth and productivity. However, studies evaluating the effects of potassium fertilization versus liming are scarce for this crop. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the effects that potassic fertilization and liming promote in crambe plants. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design with four replicates, composed of three potassium doses (0, 40 and 80 kg ha-1 K2O) and four levels of base saturation (34-control, 40, 50 and 60 %). The evaluated variables were: root and shoot biomass, grain yield and oil content. There was a significant effect on the interaction of factors in productivity. The potassium and the increase of the bases saturation levels influenced all the evaluated parameters. In view of the results, for the crambe culture, the doses of 40 kg ha-1 of K2O and 50% for base saturation are recommended.
